My father, James F. Delaney started his career with State Farm in the 1950’s. He worked a full-time job at ABL and spent his evenings and weekends as a State Farm Agent. He operated his business in the foyer of our family home. My mother, Mildred, was the only secretary he needed! My parents raised 10 of us in that house. I went on to raise my own two sons in the Delaney home. My wife, Judy, is a State Farm Agent in Moorefield, WV. I'm also a proud pappy to seven grandchildren!

I attended Bishop Walsh & Frostburg State, graduating with my degree in Education. I taught both elementary and middle school in Garrett County. After my father passed, I took over part of his business in 1981 and have continued to grow over the last 44 years. We now offer insurance to not only Maryland, but Pennsylvania, Virginia, & West Virginia residents as well.

I also want to thank our policyholders and our community for helping us flourish and allowing Denny Delaney State Farm to help with their needs over the last 43 years!

A special thank you to my staff: Jo, Caitlin, & Jessie and now Savannah Tillman who lives in Keyser and is working on obtaining her license to be able to properly help our policyholders ! All of your hard work and dedication is appreciated.
